Mettre en scène une pointe unique avec un grand espace vide autour

Stage a unique tip with a large empty space around it

A single crystal point can structure a sparsely decorated piece of furniture. Its orientation and the empty space around it matter more than the number of accessories. The composition remains centered on its geometry and the stability of its base.

What you need

  • 1 piece: Rock Crystal Point. Size selected: approximately 10 cm long. View the reference.
  • A simple console table.
  • A compatible base, if necessary.

Prepare the location

Measure the available depth before placing the minerals. Keep their entire base inside the piece of furniture or on the support. Compare the combined weight of the pieces with the weight capacity of the furniture, then choose the point from which you want to view the composition.

The setup, step by step

  1. Clear the surface and place the accessories empty. Check that the supports are flat and wide enough for the chosen pieces.
  2. Identify a clear area in the middle of a shallow piece of furniture.
  3. Install a single crystal point on its stable base.
  4. Turn a flat face toward the entrance of the room.
  5. Remove neighboring accessories that visually bring the point closer to the edge.
  6. Observe the result from the usual distance. Correct overlapping contours, then check the stability of each piece one last time.

The detail that matters

Choose a point whose base allows the desired position, without relying on support against the wall.

Adjust the light and proportions

Start with diffused light and observe the surfaces from the main viewing point. Move an accessory slightly if its shadow or reflection obscures the stone. Maintain the proportions of the pieces actually chosen: a small mineral is highlighted by bringing the viewer closer or simplifying the background, without multiplying the accessories.
